  • Cheap Skin Care Products – Find Out About The Damage Cheap Skin Products Can Do To Your Skin
  • The ingredients used in cheap skin care products can lead to lasting damage to your skin and overall health. Find out how to avoid them and what to search for to look after your skin's health and future well-being.

cheap skin care productsCheap skin products seem to be everywhere at the moment, and do not just make up the stores own brands. In addition, cheap ingredients in the leading and more expensive brands are becoming more common as profits get squeezed.

To give you an idea, most, if not all cheap skin care products contain mineral oil (paraffin wax, petrolatum), parabens (methyl, propyl), triclosan and fragrances which could be any number of thousands of chemicals.

Mineral oil is the worst offender and most widely used. This synthetic oil strips away your natural oils and dries out your skin. It coats your skin like plastic to artificially lock in the moisture but prevents it from breathing properly and eliminating the toxins correctly.

Parabens are used to preserve thecheap skin products but have been linked to rashes, irritation and even cancer. Instead of using natural vitamin E for example which costs a little more, most go for the cheap option to increase profits with little regard for your health.

Part of the problem stems from the fact that in the US, cosmetic companies can put what they like (within reason) into their creams with little or no regulation to date. In Europe, there are much stricter regulations and many ingredients in US creams are banned in Europe!

Triclosan is widely used as an anti-bacterial agent and is also used in weedkiller, not a comforting thought. It is known that this ingredient is responsible for creating strains of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics, due to its wide use in skincare products.

As you can see, it is best to pay a little more and get quality natural creams that are good for your skin and overall health.

I use a company called Xtend-Life from New Zealand that delivers to my door. Their products contain no harmful chemicals at all and in fact are safe enough to eat!

These ingredients combine to increase your collagen levels, fading any fine lines and tightening up your skin, provide essential natural nutrients to nourish deep down and during the night and powerful antioxidants to prevent free radical damage.

Using only natural and effective ingredients and avoiding the cheap skin care products will help you to have healthy and glowing skin and a sustainable way forward to keeping it that way in the future,
